Honey can be used in various modern medicine because it has a therapeutic effect that is high viscosity, has a low pH (acid), contains anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatory substances, growth stimulant substances, amino acids, vitamins, enzymes and minerals. The purpose of this study was to determine the formulation and effectiveness of forest honey cream from the West Suli area of Luwu Regency for the treatment of grade II burns. The research method used is a true laboratory experiment. The samples used were 5 rabbits which were divided into 5 treatment groups. Treatment was carried out on the first day and then given treatment every day. These observations were made every 3 days for 15 days of treatment. Data processing was carried out statistically using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), One Way Anova, and the Smallest Significant Difference Test (BNT) by analyzing the condition of the burn wound before and after being given treatment, compared to the control group that was not given any treatment. The results showed that Fcount is greater than Ftable at the level of =0.05 (8.70 > 2.78) then the hypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion shows that there is a significant effect of giving forest honey with high concentration on burns in rabbits.en_US
